Meet Our Dream Team


In June of 2006, owner Andrea achieved her long-time dream come true by opening her own dance studio. She wanted others to fulfill their dreams of dancing, too! The Dance Kraze Family consists of a young, energetic, talented and unique choreographers.  The instructors have been trained by many well-known artists at tri-state conventions, Broadway Dance Centers, top choreographers from the hit television show, “So You Think You Can Dance” and much more!

Miss Andrea

Owner, Artistic Director

Miss Andrea began dancing at Ann’s Dance Studio at age 5, studying multiple styles of dance with Irene Clifford, Debra Disbro and Christine Giovanni, Betty Champion of Westfield, MA and Sherry Gold of Brockton, MA. As her love for dance continued to grow, she began to train with many tri-state professionals and as a member of the Championettes Dance Company, she appeared on the Tony Grant Stars of Tomorrow Show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She continued her studies at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, Charles Kelly of NYC, Frank Hatchett, Steven Boyd and Kim Norrington of Springfield, MA, as well as Linda Regulbuto, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, Savion Glover, Mary Dunfey, just to name a few. Through the years, Miss Andrea has competed in many competitions and pageants. She has attended and trained with various artists at tri-state conventions and has judged several dance competitions throughout her career. She has now fulfilled her dream and enjoys sharing her love for dance with her staff and students. Quality of Dance and the Ultimate Dance Experience is what Miss Andrea strives to give each and every student at Dance Kraze!

Miss Ashlie

Assistant Director & Instructor

At age 2, Miss Ashlie began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. Miss Ashlie studied multiple styles of dance and was a member of the Steppin’ Up Dance Companies, as well as the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team. Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, along with staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC is just a few with whom Miss Ashlie trained with. She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show, as well as many performances at the Disney Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Miss Ashlie has competed in numerous competitions and pageants throughout the years.

Miss Tamara

Assistant Director & Instructor

Miss Tamara began her dance training at Age 2 at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT and Pioneer Gymnastics in East Longmeadow, MA. Miss Tamara studied multiple styles of dance and was a member of the Steppin’ Up Dance Companies, as well as the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team, Enfield Ramblers Cheerleading, GTC All Stars and Enfield HS Dance Team. Miss Tamara trained with Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, Leo Ledger, along with staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show,as well as many performances at the Disney Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Miss Tamara has competed in many competitions and pageants throughout the years.

Miss Jessica

Instructor

Miss Jessica is from Enfield, CT. At age 2, she began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. Miss Jessica had a passion for African Dance, Acro/Gymnastics, Jazz Funk and Hip Hop as a very young dancer. She was a member of the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team, as well as the Dance Company at Kim’s Danceland, under the direction of Kim Norrington. She studied multiple styles of dance under the direction of Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, Chio Yamada, Anthony Thomas, various staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC are just a few with whom Miss Jessica trained with. She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. Miss Jessica has taught various workshops at surrounding dance studios and dance conventions, including NADAA. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show, as well as many performances at the Disney Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Miss Jessica has competed in many competitions and pageants throughout the years. Miss Jessica’s passion for Hip Hop ignites the dance floor.

Miss Nina

Instructor

Miss Nina is from Enfield, CT. At age 2, she began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. In her high school years, she developed a passion for Broadway, Music and Theater. Miss Nina Specializes in our Pre-School and Tiny Tots Programs. She studied multiple styles of dance under the direction of Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, , various staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC are just a few with whom Miss Nina trained with.  She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show. Miss Nina has competed in many competitions and pageants throughout the years. Miss Nina enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for dance with her tiny tots.

Miss Ashley D

Instructor

Miss Ashley is from Windsor, CT. She started dancing at the age of 3 and began her dance training at Riley’s School Of Dance in Enfield, CT. When she was 13, Miss Ashley began attending the Connecticut Contemporary Ballet Theatre in Somers, CT. under the direction of Christine Duhon and Richard Steinert. She continued her studies of dance at the Hartford Conservatory of Performing Arts in 2002 and graduated in 2004 with a double major in Dance Pedagogy and Dance Performance. Miss Ashley is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Character, Irish Step, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Disney Magic Music Days, Boston and Smith College Dance festivals, 5 by 5, The Ted Hersey Marathon & Bushnell. Miss Ashley D also attended master classes at The School of Hartford Ballet, Steps, and Broadway Dance Center. She studied with Brenda Buffalino, Avi Miller and Ofer Ben, Josh Hilberman, Germaine Salsberg, Jacques D’Amboise and Frank Hatchett. Miss Ashley D has been teaching dance in the Connecticut area for ten years.

Mr. James (Jayare) Falcon

Instructor

Mr. Jayare Falcon grew up dancing around the Hartford area. When he was younger he had the opportunity to train with many well-known artists that include Frank Hatchett, Chio Yamada, and Michelle Barber at Broadway Dance Center. He attended Hofstra University and received Bachelor of Arts in Dance. Since his graduation, he has had the opportunity to choreograph and perform in the greater New England area.  Mr. James starred in A Chorus Line at the Ivoryton Playhouse and continues his dance career with the Moxie Dance Company in West Hartford.

Miss Jasmine

Instructor

Miss Jasmine resides in Enfield, CT. She began studying dance at Age 4. With a passion for the Acrobatic Arts, she became a member of the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team and DKDS Dance Companies. Most of her dance training was at Dance Kraze Dance Studios, specializing in Acro/Gymnasics, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap. Miss Jasmine has competed in many regional and national dance competitions and received multiple titles, high score and judges special awards in various solo and group dances. Miss Jasmine was awarded the 2015 Dance Your Heart Out Scholarship and appeared in the Dance Spirit Magazine in 2015. She has been trained by various award-winning choreographers who have worked with “So You Think You Can Dance” and more! Miss Jasmine continues to train in the dance arts as well as share her passion for the arts with her students.

Miss Jen

Instructor

Miss Jen began her dance training at the age of 3 at Steppin’ up Dance Studio in Somers CT, she then began dancing at The Academy of Dance in East Longmeadow Mass. There she was a member of the competitive dance team, she competed both as a soloist and an ensemble dancer in numerous regional and national dance competitions. Miss Jennifer then continued her dance training at Keene State College where she received an Associates in Dance. She was also selected to perform in Keene States end of the year performance all four years she was at Keene. Also while at Keene she was a member of the Keene State Dance Team where she held the title of Captain her senior year. Miss Jennifer is trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Modern. Miss Jen enjoys sharing her experience and love for dance with her students.

Miss Julianne

Instructor

Miss Julianne began her dance training at a young age at The Dance Slipper in Southwick, Mass.  As a member of their competition dance team, she competed as both a soloist and an ensemble dance member in numerous regional and national dance competitions in Myrtle Beach, Boston, NYC, Orlando and Hollywood, FL. As a competitive dancer Julianne was awarded many high scores and also received several special judges’ awards for her acrobatic skills. Miss Julianne continued her dance training at the Joan Palladino School of Dance at Dean College where she earned her Associate Degree in Dance. She began her professional dance career at Six Flags New England as a dancer and magician’s assistant as well as a dance team member for the NY Knicks.  Julianne has extensive training in jazz, hip-hop, ballet, acro, contemporary, modern, lyrical and tap.

Miss Marissa

Instructor

Marissa Mitchell grew up on the South Shore of MA training at Michelle’s Studio of Dance. She then attended Dickinson College in Carlisle PA where she earned her Bachelors in both Dance and Neuroscience in 2016. While in college she trained under the mentorship of Sarah Skaggs and Erin Crawley-Woods.  Additionally, Marissa was captain of Synergy, Dickinson’s Dance Team, and the Vice President of Dance Theatre Group, Dickinson’s Modern Company.  For the past five years, she has taught various dance styles to children in both private studios and public school systems.  Marissa is currently a student at Bay Path University working towards her Masters in occupational therapy.  Her end goal is to open her own early intervention center treating children with developmental delays through dance.  Marissa loves helping her students reach their highest potential and develop confidence in their abilities in and out of the classroom.

Mr. Ricky

Instructor

Ricardo Plamenco and is a hip hop teacher/choreographer with 11 years teaching experience.  He recently relocated from California and currently teaching in the New England area, as teaching is his passion.   Mr. Ricky’s hip hop style has a lot of street influence.  This includes popping, locking, and break dancing. He has a background in theater as well and likes to add theatrical and lyrical elements in his work.  “To me, hip hop should tell a story and connect with the audience at multiple levels.  Mr. Ricky has appeared in many commercials for dance and acting.

Miss Lindsey

Instructor

Miss Lindsey grew up in Enfield, CT. At the age if 3 she began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. Miss Lindsey has studied multiple styles of dance and was a longtime member of Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastics Team. Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert and Andrea Ouellette are just a few with whom she has trained with. Lindsey was a 3x Varsity Cheerleader with Enrico Fermi High School in Enfield, CT and was a member of the National Champion Titan Allstar Cheerleading Team out of MA, under the direction of Daniele VanOssenbrugger Blackburn. She has appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow show and performed in Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando,Fl. Over the many years Lindsey has competed in both dance and cheerleading competitions all over the northeast region, as well as the beauty pageant grid. Miss Lindsey enjoys sharing her passion for acro dance arts.

 

Miss Marissa D

Instructor Trainee

Miss Marissa is a Senior at Enfield High School and is a part of their National Honors Society. She began studying dance at the age of 3 and started competing at the age of 8. This is her 3rd year of training with us at Dance Kraze Dance Studio and she is currently a part of our Senior Dance Company. Miss Marissa has received multiple awards in her time competing with us. She has received a BTS Stand Out Award and BTS special judges award. She has also received a special judges award from True Talent and the Heart of Gold Award from Power of Dance. Miss Marissa has also participated in many dance conventions and has trained at The Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
