Dance Kraze began with a dream…owner Andrea sought to create a studio focused on helping others fulfill their dancing dreams. This became a reality in June of 2006 when Dance Kraze Studio was open for show-stopping business!

Miss Andrea began dancing at Ann’s Dance Studio at age 5, studying multiple styles of dance with Irene Clifford, Debra Disbro, and Christine Giovanni, Betty Champion of Westfield, MA, and Sherry Gold of Brockton, MA. As her love for dance continued to grow, she began to train with many tri-state professionals, and as a member of the Championettes Dance Company, she appeared on the Tony Grant Stars of Tomorrow Show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She continued her studies at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, Charles Kelly of NYC, Frank Hatchett, Steven Boyd, Kim Norrington of Springfield, MA, and Linda Regulbuto, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, Savion Glover, Mary Dunfey, just to name a few. Through the years, Miss Andrea has competed in many competitions and pageants. She has attended and trained with various artists at tri-state conventions and has judged several dance competitions throughout her career. She has now fulfilled her dream and enjoys sharing her love for dance with her staff and students. Quality of dance and the ultimate dance experience is what Miss Andrea strives to give each and every student at Dance Kraze!

At age 2, Miss Ashlie began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. Miss Ashlie studied multiple styles of dance and was a member of the Steppin’ Up Dance Companies, as well as the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team. Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, along with staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC is just a few with whom Miss Ashlie trained with. She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show, as well as many performances at the Disney Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Miss Ashlie has competed in numerous competitions and pageants throughout the years. Miss Ashlie has been recognized and presented the Teacher’s Entertainment Awards and Choreography Awards at BTS, True Talent, Elite Performance, Power of Dance and various other dance competitions!
Miss Nina is from Enfield, CT. At age 2, she began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. In her high school years, she developed a passion for Broadway, Music, and Theater. Miss Nina Specializes in our Pre-School and Tiny Tots Programs. She studied multiple styles of dance under the direction of Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, the various staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC are just a few with whom Miss Nina trained with. She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show. Miss Nina has competed in many competitions and pageants throughout the years. Miss Nina enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for dance with her tiny tots.
Miss Jessica is from Enfield, CT. At age 2, she began her dance training at Steppin’ Up Dance Studios in Somers, CT. Miss Jessica had a passion for African Dance, Acro/Gymnastics, Jazz Funk, and Hip Hop as a very young dancer. She was a member of the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team, as well as the Dance Company at Kim’s Danceland, under the direction of Kim Norrington. She studied multiple styles of dance under the direction of Linda Regulbuto, Colleen White, Richard Steinert, Christine Duhon, Chio Yamada, Anthony Thomas, various staff at Broadway Dance Center in NYC are just a few with whom Miss Jessica trained with. She also trained with many well-renowned artists from NADAA and various other tri-state conventions and workshops. Miss Jessica has taught various workshops at surrounding dance studios and dance conventions, including NADAA. She appeared on the Stars of Tomorrow Show, as well as many performances at the Disney Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Miss Jessica has competed in many competitions and pageants throughout the years. Miss Jessica’s passion for Hip Hop ignites the dance floor. Miss Jessica has been recognized and presented Teacher’s Entertainment Awards and Choreography Awards at BTS and True Talent, Power of Dance, and various other dance competitions!
Miss Julianne began her dance training at a young age at The Dance Slipper in Southwick, MA. As a member of their competition dance team, she competed as both a soloist and an ensemble dance member in numerous regional and national dance competitions in Myrtle Beach, Boston, NYC, Orlando and Hollywood, FL As a competitive dancer, Julianne was awarded many high scores and received several special judges’ awards for her acrobatic skills. Miss Julianne continued her dance training at the Joan Palladino School of Dance at Dean College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Dance. She began her professional dance career at Six Flags New England as a dancer and magician’s assistant as well as a dance team member for the NY Knicks. Julianne has extensive training in jazz, hip-hop, ballet, acro, contemporary, modern, lyrical, and tap. Miss Julianne has been recognized and presented the Teacher’s Entertainment Awards and Choreography Awards at BTS, True Talent, Elite Performance, and various other dance competitions!
Miss Ashley D
Miss Ashley is from Windsor, CT. She started dancing at the age of 3 and began her dance training at Riley’s School Of Dance in Enfield, CT. When she was 13, Miss Ashley began attending the Connecticut Contemporary Ballet Theatre in Somers, CT. under the direction of Christine Duhon and Richard Steinert. She continued her studies of dance at the Hartford Conservatory of Performing Arts in 2002 and graduated in 2004 with a double major in Dance Pedagogy and Dance Performance. Miss Ashley is trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Character, Irish Step, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Disney Magic Music Days, Boston and Smith College Dance festivals, five by 5, The Ted Hersey Marathon & Bushnell. Miss Ashley D also attended master classes at The School of Hartford Ballet, Steps, and Broadway Dance Center. She studied with Brenda Buffalino, Avi Miller and Ofer Ben, Josh Hilberman, Germaine Salsberg, Jacques D’Amboise, and Frank Hatchett. Miss Ashley D has been teaching dance in the Connecticut area for over ten years.
Miss Jasmine resides in Enfield, CT. She began studying dance at age 4. With a passion for the Acrobatic Arts, she became a member of the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team and DKDS Dance Companies. Most of her dance training was at Dance Kraze Dance Studios, specializing in Acro/Gymnastics, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap. Miss Jasmine has competed in many regional and national dance competitions and received multiple titles, high score, and judges special awards in various solo and group dances. Miss Jasmine was awarded the 2015 Dance Your Heart Out Scholarship and appeared in the Dance Spirit Magazine in 2015. She has been trained by various award-winning choreographers who have worked with “So You Think You Can Dance” and more! Miss Jasmine continues to train in the dance arts as well as share her passion for the arts with her students.
Miss Kenisha resides in Enfield, CT. She began studying dance at a young age became a member of the Aerialstars Acro/Gymnastic Team and DKDS Dance Companies. Most of her dance training was at Dance Kraze Dance Studio, specializing in Acro/Gymnastics, Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical & Tap. Miss Kenisha has competed in many regional and national dance competitions and received numerous high scores and judges special awards in various solo and group dances. Miss Kenisha was awarded the 2010 Dance Your Heart Out Scholarship and The PULSE On Tour 2010 Sumer NYC Scholarship! AND YET another PULSE Scholarship in February of 2011. She has been trained by various award-winning choreographers who have worked with “So You Think You Can Dance”, Britney, Mya, Prince, Cirque de Soleil, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Tyrese, Brian McKnight, Christina Aguilera, N SYNC, hit movies such as Step Up 2&3, Stomp The Yard, You Got Served.
Originally from Frederick, MD, Rachael began her dance training under the direction of Joyce Morrison at the Frederick School of Classical Ballet. While performing as a member of the Urbana High School Dance Company, under the direction of Stephanie Weigelt, she was named a Maryland All-State Dancer. She furthered her dance training attending summer intensives at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, North Carolina School for the Arts, the Kansas City Ballet School, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Rachael then went on to graduate from Mercyhurst University in 2013 with a BA in dance. Since graduation, she has danced with BalletFleming under the direction of Christopher Fleming and the Fort Wayne Ballet under Karen Gibbons-Brown. Rachael has also guested with the Albany Berkshire Ballet, Connect the Dots Dance Company, Deos Contemporary Ballet, and Three Rivers Dance.
Francesca is from Enfield, CT. She started dancing at age 5 at Riley’s School of Dance. She has been dancing for 15 years now. She has performed at the Disney Springs stage 3 times, Universal Studios, and Sea World. After high school she continued her training of dance at the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance at Dean College. She has studied with Todd Shanks, Jill Silverman, Casey Harkness-Andrade, Lindsey Klein, and Stephen Ursprung. She now has an associates degree in dance (AA). While she is teaching, she is also studying to become a physical therapist at Bay Path University.
Ciara resides in Windsor, Ct. She is from Puerto Rico and moved to CT in 2016. She began dancing the traditional Puerto Rican dances of “Bomba y Plena” when she was 5 years old. In middle school, she became a dancer for the “Donaire Dance Team” in Puerto Rico, winning various competitions on the island. She later became the dance instructor for the team. During her youth, she was also a member of True Way Productions in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. After graduating college she became a choreographer for private events and a judge for teen competitions. Her dance styles are a blend of her Puerto Rican roots.
Emma is from South Windsor, CT and has been dancing since she was 3 years old as both a recreational and competitive dancer. Emma has trained and taught a multitude of styles including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Street Jazz, Jazz Funk, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, and more. Normally, Emma is a rising Junior at Wagner College in NYC pursuing a BA in Musical Theatre where she is able to work with industry professionals and Broadway veterans. Over the years, she has taken numerous masterclasses and workshops in CT and NYC with respected choreographers and dance professionals, such as Rachelle Rak, Jessica Lee Goldyn, James Combo Marino, and many more. Additionally, the past two years she has been the Assistant Choreographer of the award-winning Spotlight Show Choir at Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor. She can not wait to teach dance this fall and become a part of the Dance Kraze family!
Abbie is from Enfield, CT. She started dancing at the age of 3 and has a strong passion for hip hop, lyrical and jazz. Her strong dance training is from Dance Kraze. Miss Abbie was recognized by top artists for her strong passion for dance. She has recieved 2 top overall awards in hip hop and many awards from dances during competitions. She is always inspiring the kids to dance their heart out and do the best they can, making them feel comfortable and safe. Miss Abbie is attending asnuntuck community college for her associates to achieve leadership and gain more teaching skills.
Rondell Thomas, aka POPKORN, is from Hartford, CT. He is a dancer/instructor for various studios to include the CT Ballet, BTC Ballet Company Theater, Farmington Dance, New England Dance in Cromwell, Jazz-N-Motion in Meriden and Dance Kraze Teens and Adult Workshops and Summer Programs in Windsor. His styles of dance are Hip Hop, House, Salsa, Stepping, Krumpin, Breakdancing, Lyrical, and Freestyle. Popkorn has won numerous dance competitions in both Connecticut and New York, including Showtime Live at the Apollo and, most recently, the infamous House Dance Conference Hip Hop Competition. Popkorn has trained and taught at various dance workshops and conventions. He is also an inner-city youth mentor for troubled teens, juveniles, and is a group home motivator.
Corey Hutchins is a Native of Manchester CT and has been tap dancing for 27 years. Hutchins began his studies at The Betty Jane Turner School of Dance and The Artist Collective. He has studied with Derick K. Grant, Lady Dianne Walker, The Late Harold “Stumpy” Cromer, and Clare O’Donnell. He has workshopped with The Late Gregory Hines, The Late Dr. Jimmy Slyde, Dr. Savion Glover, and more. He has been seen on stage at numerous Tap City Performances (New York City Tap Festival) 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2013. In 2004 Corey started a 6-year run with “Riverdance the Show” where he performed on stages around the world to include Radio City Music Hall (NYC), Pantages Theatre (L.A.), Numerous Fox Theatres around the U.S., and the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin Ireland. In 2010 Mr. Hutchins was invited to perform at The White House for The First Lady Michelle Obama and other celebrity guests. Corey has been influenced a lot by Jazz musicians. He has performed with the Late Legend Dave Brubeck, Donald Harrison Jr., The Late Jackie McLean, and The Curtis Brothers. In 2013 Corey Co-formed “Medusa” (A CT based live Jazz band). In February of this year, Hutchins was cast as the soloist Tap dancer in The Apollo Theatre’s Europe Tour of “James Brown- Get on the Good Foot, a Celebration in Dance.” Hutchins Joined the Cast of “Soulwalk” (2015) and “Vibe” (2017) both are Original Tap Dance Shows directed by Hillary Marie Atkinson) Performed In New Jersey. He makes his third appearance this year in the New Jersey Tap Festival, where he is again a part of the teaching faculty in August. Corey Hutchins is the Founder and Artistic Director of C.T. Tap and the Connecticut Tap Intensive, which makes its 4th annual run in October of 2017.
